POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to speak to following a report of criminal damage in Aberystwyth town centre.

Dyfed Powys Police is investigating a report of criminal damage which occurred in Aberystywth in the early hours of Sunday, 26 June.

The window of a shop in Pier Street was smashed at about 2.15am, officers say.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers have carried out all possible lines of enquiry, and are now appealing for help from the public.

“They would like to identify the person in the CCTV image, who may have information that could help the investigation.

“Anyone who knows who the person is, or if you believe you are pictured, contact Dyfed-Powys Police.”
