The festivities continued in Barmouth with the town’s Christmas market and the 5k Santa Dash.
Having battled with the rain and wind last week, Saturday saw 130 Father Christmases brave a sand storm as they competed in the 5k Santa Dash along the promenade.
Following on from the switching on of the Christmas tree lights and late-night shopping last week, Barmouth hosted a Christmas Market with 15 stalls selling food drinks and crafts around the town.
The event was organised to raise funds for the South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team and the amount raised is still to be announced.
This weekend marks a first for the town. On Saturday 21 and Sunday, 22 there will be an ice rink in the main car park from 10am.
