The death of a man found in Corris is being treated as “unexplained” by police.
An ambulance and police were called to the scene on the A487 in Corris yesterday after reports of a man needing medical attention. An air ambulance was also dispatched.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “At 11.59am yesterday, officers were on the A487 at Corris Uchaf, where colleagues from the Wales Ambulance Service were attending to a man who appeared to have collapsed.
“The air ambulance also attended, but unfortunately the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is currently being treated as unexplained, and the coroner for North West Wales has been informed.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Tuesday, 12 January at approximately 11.44am to reports of a person needing urgent medical attention in Corris.
"We responded with two emergency ambulances and our crews were supported by the Wales Air Ambulance.”
