THREE air ambulances were among the emergency response to a collision on the A487 earlier this evening.

The road remains closed after the incident.

Dyfed-Powys Police said at around 6pm today (Sunday): "Emergency services are currently at scene dealing with a road traffic collision on the A487 between Aberaeron and Synod Inn at Llwyncelyn.

"Road closed in both directions, please find an alternative route."
