THE main A487 between Aberaeron and Synod Inn has reopened this morning, following a collision yesterday evening,

Dyfed-Powys Police said at around 6am Monday: "The A487 between #Aberaeron and #SynnodInn at Llwyncelyn road is now open. Thank you for your patience."

Police, ambulances and air ambulances were among the emergency response to the collision.

The road was closed in both directions following the crash.

Dyfed-Powys Police said at around 6pm on Sunday: "Emergency services are currently at scene dealing with a road traffic collision on the A487 between Aberaeron and Synod Inn at Llwyncelyn."
