A motorbike has been seized in Barmouth.

North Wales Police said officers from the Barmouth Neighbourhood Policing Team were on patrol in the town on the evening of Friday, 4 September, when they became suspicious of a red motorbike.

“Checks revealed that the vehicle had been declared off the road (SORN) and had no valid tax, MOT or insurance.

The motorbike was subsequently seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988,” a police spokesperson said.

“The owner now has 14 days to provide proof of ownership and the required documentation. If this is not provided, the vehicle may be disposed of in accordance with legislation.

We remain committed to keeping our roads safe and taking action against uninsured and unlawful vehicles.”
