Police are appealing for information following a collision on Penglais hill that has left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

The collision occurred at around 2.40pm on Friday, 7 August on the A487, at the top of Penglais Hill.

Giving an update, a police spokesperson said: "The collision involved a Triumph motorcycle and a Nissan Juke, and took place on the junction with the B4572 road, which leads to Clarach.

"The motorcyclist, a man aged 64, sustained serious (fractured wrist and pelvis) injuries and was taken to hospital where they remain.

“If you witnessed this incident, have any information regarding it, or if you were travelling in the area, please make contact.”
