ABERYSTWYTH police are investigating after a car was stolen before suffering “extensive damage” in a crash.

A black BMW was stolen on Portland Street on Monday, 25 April, police said.

“The vehicle was later involved in a road traffic collision,” a police spokesperson said.

“It was found abandoned, and with extensive damage, on the junction between Primrose Hill and Waunfawr.

“Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact police in Aberystwyth by calling 101.”
