The A487 is closed this afternoon between Tre'r Ddol and Furnace due to an 'emergency incident'.
Dyfed-Powys Police is advising motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
Posting to social media, police said: "A487 - Tre'r-ddol to Furnace.
"The road is currently closed due to an emergency incident.
"Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey."
