A farm shop near Aberaeron has been ordered to improve its Covid measures.

A premises improvement notice has been served to The Moody Cow Farm Shop in Llwyncelyn by Ceredigion County Council’s public protection officers due to non-compliance with The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No 4) (Wales) Regulations 2020.

They are required to make improvements to safeguard the public’s health and wellbeing as part of the coronavirus regulations, the council said.

As part of the notice, the premises must ensure that a distance of two metres is maintained between people on the premises; provide sufficient information to those entering and working at the premises about how to minimise the risk of exposure to coronavirus; take reasonable measures, including limiting close face-to-face contact, ensure customer contact information is correct and maintain hygiene, control the use of shared facilities and providing and ensuring that face coverings are used by all those working on the premises.

These measures will need to be implemented by 3pm on 13 December.

The full notice can be seen on the council’s website under Improvement and Closure Notices.
