A Ceredigion County Council by-election for the Tirymynach Ward will take place in October following the death of long-serving and popular ward councillor Paul Hinge last month.

The notice of election has been published by Ceredigion County Council and anyone considering standing as a candidate has until 4pm on Friday, 20 September to submit their nomination papers to the Returning Officer.
If the election is contested with two or more candidates, it will take place on Thursday, 17 October.
