LAMPETER will be getting into the festive spirit on Saturday, 23 November with a fun-packed day before the switching on of the town's Christmas lights.

The Christmas Fair will be held next Saturday from 2pm onwards with face painting, Christmas crafts and a Santa's grotto in Victoria Hall.

Eleewhere, there will be a funfair, food and drink stalls and music from Cwmann Choir and Bro Pedr Primary school.

The Christmas Tree lighting will take place at 6pm on Harford Square.
