St Gwynog’s Church
FOLLOWING on from the success of last year’s Flower Festival, St Gwynog’s Church is holding a three-day art festival over the bank holiday weekend from 25 to 27 August.
On show will be items of fine art, ceramics, sculpture, photography and quilting in this beautiful church or enjoy demonstrations in wood turning and origami.
There will also be tea and homemade cakes.
There will be an opportunity to win a painting Moonlight on the River Severn, a limited edition print kindly donated by local artist Brian Jones.
An original piece of art will be sold in the secret art sale – it could be by someone famous.
Open from 10am until 4pm each day there will also be plant and produce stalls.
On Saturday, 25 August, at 7pm there will be a concert given by Côr Llanwnog followed by light refreshments, or join them on Sunday, 26 August, at 6pm for a Songs of Praise Service with Schools Art Competition prize giving.
All proceeds gratefully received towards the church restoration fund.
