An Aberarth man has been fined after admitting assaulting a police officer.
Barry Phillips, of Isfryn, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 17 July.
The 48-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting Pc Harrison at his home address on 14 June.
Phillips also admitted a charge of failing to surrender to bail.
He was fined £80 by magistrates for the officer assault and £40 for failing to surrender to bail.
Phillips must also pay £85 in prosecution costs.
No compensation was ordered.
