An Aberystwyth man has appeared in court charged with making indecent images of children.

Charlie Thomas, of 11 Parc Graig Glais, Upper Queen’s Road, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 2 September.

The 27-year-old is charged with making 31 indecent images of children, including eight of the most serious category A.

No pleas were entered at the hearing and Thomas is next due to appear before Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 2 October.

He was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
