A Birmingham man has been cleared of charges of possession of a blade at Aberystwyth railway station and using threatening behaviour.

Abdul Rakib, now of no fixed abode, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court for trial on 8 August.

The 29-year-old had previously denied possession of a blade at Aberystwyth railway station on 29 May this year and using threatening or abusive behaviour at the railway station on the same day.

Both charges were dismissed by magistrates at the hearing.
