An Adpar man has been fined after being caught speeding at almost twice the limit on a Ceredigion road.

Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on 2 April that Gethin Jones, of 34 Derwen Gardens was clocked by police laser travelling in Range Rover Evoque at 52mph on the 30mph limit A475 at Aberbanc on 29 August last year.

Magistrates fined the 48-year-old £369 and endorsed his driving record with six penalty points.

He must also pay £90 costs and a £147 surcharge.
