A Cwm Cou man who “persistently made use of a public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety” has been handed a conditional discharge by magistrates.
Harry Wakeman, of Tyddyndu, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 17 April.
The 63-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge which occurred in Cwm Cou on 29 March.
Wakeman was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £26 surcharge.
