A Ferwig woman who was caught speeding while driving on a revoked licence has been fined by magistrates.

Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on 19 June that Catrin Ann Williams, of Ffynnon Cyff, was clocked travelling at 79mph on the 70mph mile limit A40 near Nantyci, Carmarthen on 14 November last year.

Checks showed the 60-year-old had her licence revoked for medical reasons in March 2022.

Williams was fined £40, handed three penalty points and must pay £90 costs and a £16 surcharge.
