A Llandysul man has been banned from the road for six months after being caught driving without insurance.
Ian Gordon, of Highbury, Wind Street, pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 9 October to driving a Volkswagen Golf without insurance on Pontfaen Road in Lampeter on 4 February this year.
Magistrates fined the 33-year-old £576 fine and endorsed his driving licence with six penalty points, leading to a six month disqualification.
He must also pay £110 costs and a £230 surcharge.
