A Birmingham man has been found not guilty of three charges of assaulting three emergency workers in Aberystwyth.

Abdul Rakib, 29, of no fixed abode, denied the assault charges and faced a trial at Aberystwyth justice centre where he was found not guilty for all three charges.

Rakib was accused of assaulting police officers Vanessa Petseva and David Jones by the Clock Tower on Great Darkgate Street, and Police Sergeant Leyton Phillips at Aberystwyth Police Station, on 4 June.
