A New Inn man who damaged a police vehicle in Carmarthen has been fined by magistrates.

Geraint Purton, of 1 Milestone Cottage, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 1 December.

The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to a criminal damage charge by kicking a Dyfed-Powys Police vehicle on Priory Street in Carmarthen on 29 November.

Magistrates fined Purton £40.

He must also pay £85 costs.
