A New Quay man will stand trial in December after appearing in court to plead not guilty to three counts of failing to comply with a community protection notice.

David Scott Holeyman, of Bamenda, Hill Street, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 16 September.

The 67-year-old pleaded not guilty to three counts of failing to comply with a community protection notice.

He is charged with failing to comply with the community protection notice by using abusive language on 2 May, 9 May and 11 July in New Quay.

Holeyman is due to stand trial on the charges at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 8 December.

He was remanded on unconditional bail by magistrates until that trial date.
