A Pencader man has been fined after appearing in court to admit a charge of drug possession.
Paul Newport, of 111 Maescader, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 20 August.
The 50-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of both herbal cannabis and cannabis resin at his home address on 18 April this year.
Magistrates fined Newport £80.
He must also pay £85 prosecution costs and a £32 surcharge to fund victim services.
Magistrates ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
