A North Wales Police constable has appeared in court charged with rape and other sexual offences.

On Thursday, 29 October, PC Ashley Dodge attended a short hearing at Mold Magistrates’ Court.

He faced charges of rape, and three counts of sexual assault.

The charges, which are reported to have occurred whilst off duty, followed his arrest by North Wales Police officers in October 2025.

Upon arrest, PC Dodge was immediately suspended from duty by North Wales Police.

At court, he was bailed to reappear at Mold Crown Court for a plea hearing on Friday, 27 November.
