A Newcastle Emlyn teenager who overtook a tractor by crossing the double solid white lines on the Cardigan bypass has been fined.

Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on 27 November that Nathan Rhys Thomas, of 3 Ger yr Efail, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A487 Cardigan bypass on 29 April this year when he was seen performing the manoeuvre.

The 19-year-old was fined £100 and handed three penalty points.

He must also pay a surcharge of £40.
