A Tre’r Ddol 20-year-old will be sentenced later this month after appearing in court to admit assaulting a man in Aberystwyth.
Max Byrne, of Maes Clettwr, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 30 September.
The 20-year-old pleaded guilty to the assault by beating of Iskandar Nofal in Aberystwyth on 28 March this year.
Magistrates adjourned the case for a pre-sentence probation report to be prepared.
Byrne is due to be sentenced at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 7 October.
He was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
