A Tre’r Ddol 20-year-old has been fined by magistrates for assaulting a man in Aberystwyth.
Max Byrne, of Maes Clettwr, appeared for sentencing before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 7 October.
The 20-year-old pleaded guilty to the assault by beating of Iskandar Nofal in Aberystwyth on 28 March this year at an earlier hearing in September.
Magistrates handed Byrne a fine of £450 and ordered him to pay compensation to the victim of £300.
He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £114.
