Two men have been given suspended prison sentences after admitting affray during an incident in Tywyn in January.
Edward Philip Lightwood, of 1C Plas Edwards in Tywyn, and Stephen David Washbrook, of Ynyshir, 35 Y Groesffordd in Bryncrug, both admitted a charge of affray at Tywyn on 27 January.
Lightwood, 23, was given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for a year after magistrates heard that he had armed himself with two weapons in the incident.
As part of the suspended sentence, he must complete 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 150 hours of unpaid work, and will pay costs totalling £200.
Thirty-five-year-old Washbrook was given an eight-week sentence suspended for 12 months.
He will also carry out 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 150 hours of unpaid work, with costs of £200 imposed.
Both men were also banned from the Victorian Slipway pub for a year.
• A 16-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with affray on 27 January.
No plea has been taken and his case was adjourned until 11 December.
