An Aberystwyth woman will be sentenced later this month after pleading guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm by running a woman over with a scooter.

Cherrie Taylor-Grierson, of 61 Marine Terrace, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 8 October.

The 47-year-old pleaded guilty at the hearing to a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm on Sara Pateman on Queens Road in Aberystwyth on 28 June last year by ‘running her over with a motorised scooter causing her foot to fracture.’

Magistrates adjourned the case for an all options pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Taylor-Grierson is next due to appear before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court for a sentencing hearing on 28 October.

She was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
