A woman will be sentenced next month after admitting stealing more than £2,500 worth of equipment from the Aberystwyth shop where she worked.
Megan Ihle, formerly of Aberystwyth but now of 9 Friars Road, Bangor, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 22 October.
The 24-year-old was due to stand trial charged with one count of theft by employee from Currys on the Parc y Llyn Retail Park in Llanbadarn Fawr on 14 December last year.
She was charged with stealing a Nintendo Switch game, a USB-C stick, two iPads, an iPhone Air, Apple Airpods and an Apple Pencil worth a combined £2,567.98.
Ihle changed her plea to guilty at the hearing.
Magistrates adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Ihle is due to appear for sentencing before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 12 November.
She was remanded on conditional bail by magistrates until that date.
