A woman has been fined by magistrates after appearing in court to plead guilty to stealing clothes form an Aberystwyth shop.

Molly Meyler-Williams, now of 4 Trehelyg, Llansawel, Llandeilo, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 6 June.

The 21-year-old admitted stealing clothes to the value of £70 from Sports Direct on Pier Street on 6 August last year.

She was fined £40 by magistrates and must pay £70 in compensation as well as costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.
