Former pupils have taken the chance to say goodbye to their old school before it closes for good.

This summer, Ysgol Ganllwyd will be one of several schools in the Dolgellau area set to shut its doors for the last time before the new Ysgol Bro Idris super school opens in September.

To mark the historic occasion, those with a connection to the school were invited to the school building to share their memories with their peers.

There were also several physical displays depicting the school’s history throughout the ages.
