The annual show rotates between five different locations – Bala, Harlech, Tywyn, Corwen and Dolgellau.
This year the show returns to Corwen at Rhug Estate Farm.
Sioe Sir Meirion will, as usual, provide an excellent day out for all members of the family.
There are many events at the show, including livestock competitions, horse and pony competitions and horticultural, produce and fur and feather marquees.
The dressage competition and display always prove popular.
The many trade stands will be of great importance to all members of the family as they walk around and enjoy the show atmosphere in beautiful surroundings.
Attractions include a range of vintage tractors and equipment, classic cars and motorbikes.
The Kennel Club competitions will have five show rings with exhibitors from far and wide.
The dogs are always a big draw and not to be missed is the extremely popular terrier racing.
The main community pavilion will house the produce, cookery and preserves entries as well as the Women’s Institute demonstrations and displays. Merched y Wawr will also stage their competitions in the Pavilion.
The Merioneth Horticultural Society will be looking after the horticultural marquee which is also to house the honey section.
At the end of the day there will be a parade of all the section champions from which a Supreme Champion will be selected.
