A New Quay woman recently attended a ceremony at Windsor Castle to receive an MBE.

Fay Francis received the honour in recognition of her service to the Welsh food and drink industry.

The Princess Royal presented the award to Fay, who for the last 14 years has been helping Welsh producers attain Geographical Indication status for their products.
