Firefighters from Aberystwyth and Borth have attended a fire at a community garden this afternoon.

Crews were called out to Borth Community Gardens at 1.32pm earlier today, Tuesday, 21 June.

A spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews were mobilised following reports of a bonfire in the open. 

"The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.

"Crews left the scene at 2.26pm."
