Gwynedd Council wants to hear how walking, wheeling and cycling can be made safer, easier and more accessible.

The council has launched a consultation about active travel in the area, and they want residents to take part. 

If you use a wheelchair, mobility scooter or other wheeled mobility aid, they also want to hear your experiences, particularly if there any barriers to doing so, or improvements that could make travelling around Gwynedd more accessible and inclusive.

Whether cycling daily or occasionally, feedback can help shape a better cycling infrastructure and residents are asked to share their ideas on how the council can create safer, more connected and appealing cycle routes for cyclists of all ages and abilities.

Cllr Craig ab Iago, Cabinet Member for the Environment, said: "If you walk, cycle or use a wheelchair to travel locally, we want to hear your views on what improvements can be made that would make it easier and more accessible for everyone.

"This consultation is open to Gwynedd residents, businesses and community groups. Please take the opportunity to have your say in order to make walking, wheeling and cycling in Gwynedd safer, more convenient and welcoming."

All comments will be taken into account when developing and planning future improvements to Gwynedd's walking, wheeling and cycling network, where possible and practicable.

The website includes an interactive map where new routes or potential improvements to existing routes can be highlighted.
