Gwynedd police are swapping foot patrols for pedal power.

North Wales Police Gwynedd South have been using electric bikes whilst out on patrol.

“This week PCSO Lona has been out patrolling Dolgellau and surrounding areas on the e-bike,” a Gwynedd police spokesperson said.

“Gwynedd South Policing Team are utilising the e-bikes to cover a wider area than they would doing foot patrol but also get to any other hard to reach areas in the car.”
