A Llangrannog man has pleaded guilty to making hundreds of indecent images of children over a 16 year span.

Matthew Cox, now of no fixed abode, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 4 September.

The 44-year-old pleaded guilty to making a total of 338 indecent images of children, including 25 of the most serious category A, in Cardigan between 14 November 2006 and 27 October 2022.

Cox is due to be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on 25 September.
