Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team received their first call of 2024 on Sunday, 28 January.

Two walkers raised the alarm when darkness fell and they were unable to get down the mountain.

A spokesperson the team said on social media. They said: “Our first call for 2024 has seen us deploy to the mountain above the village of Beddgelert to two benighted walkers. Once located by the team they were guided down to safety.”

The team stood down at 7.30pm.
