Abersoch RNLI has received £570 from Parwich Oddfellows in Derbyshire.

Sue McCann, volunteer fundraising chair, received the donation at a recent race night for Abersoch RNLI.

Oddfellows member Richie Maddocks and his son, Dougie, who is a junior member, met Sue at the lifeboat station where they were presented with a certificate of thanks on behalf of the RNLI.

The Parwich branch has been a keen supporter of Abersoch RNLI for many years now, as many members have long-standing ties with the area.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the lifeboat station is not yet open for visitors, so ‘tractor mad’ Douglas was promised a guided tour of the lifeboat station as soon as restrictions allow.
