An extension to a building on an Aberystwyth University campus has been given the go-ahead by Ceredigion planners.

The university applied to build an extension to the seed storage building at IBERS in Gogerddan.

A council report said: “It is considered that the proposal will not detrimentally impact the character of the dwelling or the immediate area.

“Both Cadw and Heneb have indicated that the scheme will not have any detrimental impact on any assets they have in the area.

“There are no residential units nearby which will be affected.

“There are no objections to the proposal from statutory consultees and no third party representations were received.”
