Gwynedd police have issued a warning to allow more time for journeys today as they escort an “abnormal load” through the county.

North Wales Police said: “On Thursday, 3 October, we will be escorting an abnormal load from Bangor services at 1pm, to Hafan y Mor Holiday Park, Chwilog, Pwllheli, via the A487 and A499 as highlighted in blue on the map.

“Please allow extra time for your journey and use alternative routes if necessary.”
