Drivers in Meirionnydd are being warned to take care this morning after snow fell in the night.

North Wales Police issued the warning on social media. The post reads: “We have received reports of snowfall on the A470 in Dolgellau and surrounding areas.

“Please take care while travelling and only consider travelling if necessary in these conditions.”
