A retiring vicar has been thanked for her service by local schoolchildren. A short service took place at Ysgol Beuno Sant where Rev Elaine Atack visited the school for the last time as the local vicar. The children sang two special songs that were written for the occasion by Sharon Jones. Rev Elaine was presented with gifts and a card, and Bethan M Jones, head teacher, thanked her for her valued service and support to the school during the past years and wished her well in her semi-retirement. All this was followed by a tea party which everyone enjoyed.
