AN obstruction on a main road junction in Llanbadarn Fawr should be cleared shortly after problems were found with a manhole cover during flooding last Sunday.

The issue with the manhole cover had led to a sign being put in place at the junction with Cefnllan hill and Primrose Hill which had caused problems for motorists using the junction.

A Ceredigion County Council spokesperson said they expected the issue to be resolved soon.

They said: “Signage has been placed on the road as a safety measure due to issues with the manhole cover identified during the flood event on Sunday, 21 January.

“It is anticipated that remedial works will be completed shortly, and the signage will be removed afterwards.”
