Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team helped a man who fell 30ft into a mine shaft in Tanygrisiau.
The team was called out on 24 August at around 6pm.
They found the man making his way off the hill with a group of cavers/climbers who heard his calls for help and went to his aid.
The casualty walked away from the fall with bruises and scrapes.
Thanks go to the climbers and North Wales Cave Rescue Organisation who attended to assist but were stood down.
