An event has been organised in Tywyn to mark 80 years since D-Day.

The free event takes place on 8 June (12pm-3pm) at Neuadd Pendre.

There will be afternoon tea, swing/lindy dancers, a dance class with Dyfi Swing, wartime favourites from the Dysynni Belles and more.

There will also be a presentation on Tywyn's contribution to the war, and war memorabilia. For a small fee you can have your hair done in a vintage hair stylist.
