Tywyn residents are in for this Halloween, when fireworks cancelled in August finally go off.

Tywyn Events Organisation’s display has been moved to the seafront at around 8pm on 31 October.

“We were really disappointed to have to cancel our August Bank Holiday fireworks display due to the tide and weather conditions, but rather than let the display go to waste, we’ve decided to give it a new home on Halloween night,” a group spokesperson said.

“So after you’ve been out trick-or-treating, head down to Tywyn seafront near the rock Island and finish the night with a bang!

“We’re hoping it’ll be a lovely way for everyone to round off Halloween together and finally enjoy the fireworks display we had planned for the summer.”
