Welsh comedy rap legends Goldie Lookin’ Chain are celebrating 15 years of music and laughter with a greatest hits tour – and they’ll be making a stop in Cardigan.
Hailing from Newport, Gwent, the band are best known for the likes of Half Man Half Machine and Your Missus is a Nutter, as well as breakout hit Guns Don’t Kill People, Rappers Do, which reached number three in the UK chart back in 2004.
Fifteen years on and they are still releasing new music that satirises the hip-hop scene, consumer society and life in Newport and South Wales in general.
In a world where the internet rules supreme, GLC have moved into the online space, garnering millions of views on videos such as Newport State of Mind, parodying some of the most popular music videos released over the last few years.
To celebrate a decade and a half of putting the world to rights through their comedic brand of rap, Goldie Lookin’ Chain will perform their greatest hits at Theatr Mwldan on Friday, 22 November.
The show, which is suitable for those aged 14 and over, will start at 8pm.
